Straight answers, including the gaps

These are the questions people ask before they let anything post for them, answered in groups: getting started, platforms and safety, content quality, freelancers and clients, and the things we have not built. Where an answer carries a caveat, the caveat is in the answer.

How are these questions organised?

By what you are actually worried about, in five groups. Most people read one group and stop, which is fine.

GroupWhat it coversWho tends to ask
Getting startedSetup, what a topic is, what happens if you go quietSomeone about to try it
Platforms and safetyBan risk, which networks work, passwords, delivery routesSomeone who has read a horror story
Content qualityHow the pick is made, repetition, captions, editingSomeone burned by generic AI output
Freelancers and clientsRunning many pages, what the client can and cannot seeSomeone selling this as a service
What it does not doThe unbuilt and the deliberately refusedSomeone doing due diligence

Where should I start if I am new to this?

The getting started group, and then the page that matches how you work. Setup is one sitting, and after that there is no recurring review to do.

The short version: you connect a page you own and set the schedule, and from then on each run finds today’s story from trends and available material, writes it fresh, renders it and posts it. There is no approval step; you can pause any scheduled job or press Run now, and a post that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for you instead of posting. If you want the whole run written out, it is on how it works.

What should I read if I am worried about my account?

The platforms and safety group, and then the trust page. The honest headline is that no tool can promise your account is safe, including this one.

What you can check is the behaviour: capped volume per page per day, varied timing instead of a machine cadence, one posting session per machine, daily spend caps on every paid outside service, and no automated comments, DMs, likes or follows at any point. The route each platform uses is stated on its own page rather than in a general claim. Start at trust and account safety, then check the real status on platforms.

What if I am worried about AI writing my posts?

Read the content quality group. The short answer is that you decide how much of each topic is scripted, and every post is written fresh from today’s story rather than pulled from a pile of generic drafts.

A topic can be a loose principle, or it can hold your fixed lines exactly where you put them, or it can script the hook, the beat and the discussion prompt so every post arrives in a shape you already chose. Thin candidates are dropped rather than padded into a post, and a post that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for a person instead of going out.

What if I run pages for clients?

Read the freelancers and clients group, and expect one clear no. There is no client login, no white label mode and no client facing report today.

What does work is each page running its own scheduled jobs, with a run log showing when each run happened and whether it worked. There is no approval step for you or your client, so if your client needs to click approve themselves, this is not ready for you. The detail is on for freelancers.

What does Content OS not do yet?

Performance learning, the full planner, its scoring formula and a per post decision log, which are designed, not built yet. An approval step, client login, white label and reporting.

Pinterest, which is not started; Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Snapchat publish today. Comments and DMs, which are refused rather than pending.

We keep that list public because a vendor who hides it costs you more later. There is also no pricing on this site yet, because pricing is not set, and inventing a number would be worse than saying so.

What if my question is not here?

Send it to us and we will answer it, and if it is a good question it ends up on this page. Email is the only channel we run at launch.

Write to admin@content-os.io. There is no chat widget, no phone line and no messaging app, because a written question gets a better answer than a rushed one typed into a box. If you want the whole product in one screen first, start at the home page or read use cases.

Getting started

Can AI just run my social media on autopilot?

For posting, largely yes. Each run finds today’s story, writes it, renders it and posts it to your own pages with no approval step, while you can pause any scheduled job and a post that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for you. It never runs your comments or DMs.

Not yet:

Does it really post by itself?

Yes. Each run picks today’s story from trends and available material, writes it fresh, renders it and posts it to your own pages. There is no approval step: you can pause any scheduled job or press Run now, and a post that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for a person instead of going out.

How do I automatically post to my Facebook page?

Connect the page, set the schedule, and add a few topics. Each run finds today’s story, writes it, renders it and posts it to your page, and a post that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for you instead.

How do I automatically post to my Facebook page every day?

Connect the page, choose its topics and posting times, and Pilot OS finds, writes, renders and posts each day on its own.

How long does setup take and what do I need to give it?

One sitting. You need the page, the posting times you want, and a handful of topics written in about a line each with tags, plus a signed in browser session on the machine that posts.

What do I actually write when I add a topic?

A short description of what the topic is for, plus tags. The tags are how the engine finds material that fits, so thin tags show up as thin posts.

What happens if a post fails?

It retries on its own and flags anything it can’t fix, so nothing is silently dropped.

What happens if I don't check in for a few days?

The page keeps posting on its schedule, because there is no approval step to wait on. Pause the scheduled job if you want it quiet; the only posts that wait for you are ones parked for breaking a format’s text limits.

Platforms and safety

Are AI influencers allowed on Instagram?

Yes, with the AI-generated profile label turned on.

Can I get banned by Facebook for using automation like n8n?

No tool can promise immunity and we will not pretend otherwise. What we do is cap volume, vary the timing, park any post that breaks its format’s text limits, and never touch engagement automation, which is where most restrictions start.

Not yet:

Can TikTok posting and Instagram Reels be automated?

Yes. TikTok video and photo posts, and Instagram image, carousel and video posts, publish today through your own logged in browser session, and all have run daily on real accounts. Stories and anything to do with engagement are not supported, and each platform page says exactly what is in scope.

Not yet:

Do AI influencers have to disclose they're AI?

Yes. Instagram, TikTok and the FTC all require clear labelling; Content OS keeps the label on.

Do I have to give you my passwords?

No. You sign in yourself, and we never ask you to hand over credentials for storage.

Do you use the official API?

Not yet. Posting today happens through your own logged in session on a page you own, and official API adapters are designed rather than built. Each platform page states which applies to it.

Not yet:

Is it safe to use automation software for social media?

It is safer when posting is slow and capped, with daily spend limits and posts that break a format’s text limits parked for a person, and we tell you per platform how each post is delivered. Nobody can promise that an account will never be restricted, and that includes us.

Not yet:

Which platforms can it post to today?

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Snapchat publish today, each on a page or account you own. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X go through your own logged in browser session and have run daily on real pages. Pinterest is not started. The platforms page carries the true status table.

Not yet:

Which platforms does it post to today?

Seven: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and Snapchat. It always posts to your own pages, acting as your page, and never through a shared or pooled account. How a post is delivered on each one is on platforms.

Will it post from my account or from some shared account?

Always your own page, acting as your page. Nothing is routed through a shared or third party account.

Will this get my page banned?

No tool can promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. Content OS posts at a human pace: pauses between posts, a daily limit per page, a daily cap on every paid service, and no comments, DMs, follows or likes at all, because that is where restrictions usually start. The full list is on trust and account safety.

Content quality

Can AI influencers get brand deals?

Yes, the same way creators do, once the account has a real audience. There are no shortcuts.

Can I edit a post before it goes out?

Not as a step in the flow. There is no approval step and no optional review, so a post that fits its format goes out on schedule. You can pause a scheduled job or press Run now, and a post that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for you instead of posting.

Can I use my own photos and videos?

Yes. Any image or clip goes into a format; stock and archive sources can fill gaps.

Does it learn from what performs and post more of that?

It is designed to, as part of a planner and scoring formula that are designed, not built yet, and engagement data is not being collected. Today each run picks its story from trends and available material.

Not yet:

Does it post the same story twice?

No. Stories already told are blocked, and a used image rests for 60 days.

How do I create an AI influencer that stays consistent?

Define the character once (personality, voice, language, house rules) and Soul OS writes every post in that voice, with a memory of what it said before.

How does it choose what to post?

Each run picks today’s story from trends and the material available, and drops the thin candidates rather than posting them. A readable scoring formula and a log of what won and what it beat are designed, not built yet.

Is Content OS an AI image generator?

No. It renders your real photos and clips into fixed formats. AI helps choose and write; it does not redraw your media.

Is the content AI slop?

No. Every post is written fresh from today’s story and rendered into a fixed format with your real media, so post thirty looks like post one. Thin stories are dropped rather than padded out, and each page keeps its own voice. See the six formats on formats.

What formats are there?

Posters, carousels and a top-5 countdown reel today, with before/after, presenter and photo-story formats next. See every format and its zones.

What if there's nothing good to post at a given time?

Thin candidates are dropped rather than posted. We would rather the page skip a weak story than post filler.

Why doesn't the caption ever overflow the design?

Each format declares its text zones and their limits, and the writing is made to fit those zones before anything renders.

Will every page look the same?

No. The frame stays fixed per page, but each page has its own brand kit: fonts, colours, cover and end card.

Will it just post generic AI slop?

You set how much is scripted, topic by topic: creative, where only the principle is fixed, semi, where your own lines are dropped in, or structured, where the hook, the beat and the discussion are yours. Each post is written fresh from today’s story, and one that breaks its format’s text limits is parked for a person instead of going out.

Will it repeat the same post over and over?

Not by design. Each post is written fresh from today’s story rather than pulled from a bank of old posts. Rotation between topics belongs to the full planner, which is designed, not built yet.

Will the caption fit the image, or come out cut off?

Every format declares its text limits, and a post that breaks them is parked for a person instead of posting. A caption cut off by its frame does not go out.

Freelancers and clients

Can I manage multiple clients' pages in one place?

Yes for the running: each page carries its own scheduled jobs and topics, so there is no shared calendar to untangle. What is not built is client account access, so every page has to be one you can already reach.

Not yet:

Can my client approve posts, or see a report?

No. There is no approval step for anyone, and client login, white-label surfaces and client facing reporting are not built.

Not yet:

How do I keep a different brand voice for each client account?

See above: a saved voice per page, with its own rules, language and memory.

Not yet

Do you reply to comments and DMs?

No. There are no replies, no inbox and no DM automation of any kind, deliberately, because engagement automation is where most account restrictions start.

Not yet:

Do you run the pages for me?

No. We sell the software only, and you stay the operator, on your own pages and your own schedule.

Not yet:

Is there an analytics dashboard?

Not yet. There is no reporting suite; what the admin console shows today is a log of every run, with its status and how long it took, plus every outside call. It tells you that a run happened, not how a post performed.

Not yet:

What does it not do yet?

It does not learn from how a post performed yet. The full planner, its scoring formula and a per post decision log are designed, not built, so today each run picks its story from trends and available material. There is also no approval step, no analytics dashboard, no comment or DM handling and no client login.

Not yet:

Will it make my page grow?

We cannot promise that, and we have no growth data of our own to show you. What it does is keep a page posting on schedule, which is consistency rather than reach.
